How To Use This Lesson Plan:

Each lesson contains two (2) sections as follows…
- Principles of Anatomy & Physiology 13th Edition by Gerald J. Tortora and Bryan Derrickson - ISBN# 9780470565100
Section 1: Assignment Questions Explained
a. When there is only one (1) textbook required for your course, after each Assignment Question there will be a page number inside parentheses at the end of each question. For example…
“What impact did the Emancipation Proclamation have on the United States? (21)”
The number in parenthesis represents the page in the book where you will look to find answers to the questions.
b. If there is more than one textbook required for your course, each textbook will be identified as follows…
“What President signed the Emancipation Proclamation? (K-123, N-34,)”
At the end of each question, in parenthesis, the letter before the number represents which book you should use to find the answers to questions. For example…
(K-123) = Kozier and Erb's Fundamentals of Nursing 8th Edition
(N-34) = Davis's NCLEX-RN® Success 2nd Edition
Once again, the number(s) after the letter represents the page(s) in the designated textbook where the answer information can be found.
c. There may also be a supplemental Appendix that is used to teach additional information that was not provided in your textbook(s). The Appendix will also be listed alongside the letters and page numbers as in the following example…
(K-123, N-34, Appendix B)
d. Some questions will ask for more than one task, for example…
- Section 1: Assignment Questions
- Section 2: Practice Exam Questions
e. Answer each Assignment Question thoroughly and completely. When the Assignment Question section is complete - stop and review your work. Read and re-read every Assignment Question and every answer. Repeat this process over and over and read aloud as often as you can. The more senses you’re able to incorporate into the learning process, the quicker you learn and the longer you retain information. The key to learning is repetition. When you feel confident you know the material in the Assignment Question Section of a lesson, go to the Lesson Practice Exam section and measure what you’ve learned and how well you’ve learned it.
Section 2: Practice Exam Questions Explained
The Lesson Practice Exam allows you to clearly establish your level of knowledge over the information presented to you. To set an exact and accurate knowledge level you must complete the entire Lesson Practice Exam without the benefit of any content review during the Lesson Practice Exam.
The Lesson Practice Exam management system will identify any areas of weakness you may still have over the information presented to you. Go back and restudy/review those areas. When you’re able to score 90% on the Lesson Practice Exam, you are ready to move on to the next lesson.
Make sure you have several “5 Subject” notebooks to take addition notes if needed.
Write out complete, in-depth, and detailed answers to each Assignment Question in the space provided below each question.
In order to find the answers to the Assignment Questions, you will need to use the textbook(s) you were directed to borrow, rent, lease, or purchase for this course.
Congratulations on the decision to advance your education! You should now proceed to Lesson One Assignment Questions!
